Welcome to London Home Scents.
I'm Fruzsina, the founder of London Home Scents. What started as a hobby in 2021, during my maternity leave after my first son was born, gradually grew into something much bigger. In 2023, London Home Scents officially became a business. Today, we're a family-run business with a dream of creating beautiful home fragrances that bring joy, comfort and luxury into every home.
The inspiration actually goes back much further. As a child, whenever I went on a school trip, I would always buy a shaped candle for my mum. For birthdays and other special occasions, I loved giving her candles because I thought they were such beautiful and unique gifts. Many of those candles are still proudly displayed in her home 15–20 years later. Those memories inspired me to try making my own shaped candles, and that's where London Home Scents began.
As my skills grew, so did the business. I wanted to create something different, so I introduced our container candles, decorated with hand-crafted wax flowers and other intricate details. Every tiny flower and decorative detail is individually handcrafted, shaped and carefully placed by hand, making every candle truly one of a kind. These extra touches take time, patience and care, but they're what make our products so special.
Over time, our collection expanded to include wax melts, and later room sprays and reed diffusers. We realised that while candles are especially popular during the colder months, everyone still wants their home to smell fresh, luxurious and inviting throughout the year. By offering a wider range of products, our customers can enjoy their favourite fragrances in every season.
We're always working on something new, whether that's discovering exciting new fragrances, developing new products or improving what we already create. We love listening to our customers and bringing fresh ideas to life.
Although I'm the owner of London Home Scents, this has become a true family business. We currently handcraft and pack every order from our home in Waltham Abbey. Alongside our online store, you'll also find us at markets across Essex, London and Enfield, where we enjoy meeting our customers face to face.
